Had a tough time at the FSGA Tournament. In retrospect, it is important to have greater variability in practice courses variability. I knew I might be in trouble when I dropped my 3 balls on the undulating practice green at Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. When I dropped them they almost rolled into the water! Yikes. It had been some time since I played on greens like that. Trying to neuromuscular lay re-train your brain to make compensations very quickly is tough stuff. Drove the ball well. Still knocked one of my chip shots in from about 90 feet (usually do one of those per round) and made a 54 foot straight putt…but the rest…double yikes. Need to work more on my tournament prep skills. Sigh, oh well. Can anyone relate?
